Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who won't face criminal charges after a 20-year-old college student accused him of sexually assaulting her inside a nightclub's bathroom, said Monday he knows he'll have to work to regain the trust of teammates and fans.

Holmes jets to New York

The Steelers and the Rooney family were fed up with Holmes, and were ready to out right release him, but accepted an offer from the New York Jets in exchange for just a 5th round pick, relieving Pittsburgh of the troublesome 4 year veteran, and former Super Bowl MVP. Santonio Holmes will be suspended the first 4 games of the 2010 season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Preseason Opponents Announced...

The Pittsburgh Steelers found out today who their 4 preseason opponents will be for the 2010-2011 season. Throughout the month of August, the Steelers will face the Detroit Lions, travel to New York to take on the Giants, then to Denver to face the Broncos, and end at home against the Carolina Panthers.

Mock Draft: Mike Iupati

For the Steelers first round pick come April, scouts have come to a consensus that the first round draft pick for Pittsburgh will be offensive guard Mike Iupati.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed all-pro defensive tackle Casey Hampton to a 3 year extension, and have placed the franchise tag on kicker Jeff Reed.
